Near the monument of Emperor Franz I of Austria, which was donated by our ancestors to their patron and monarch, by the way, was in gratitude for the "perpetual right" to allow the precious thermal water to flow abundantly into Bad Hofgastein. Located in front of the library and writing room on the first floor of the BLÜ, it is an area reserved exclusively for our guests. You can observe life on the square, read, write, chat, and reflect. It is also the perfect place to end a wonderful day, completely free, without consuming anything.
Located in the heart of the HimmelBLÜ Spa on the top floor, our south-facing HimmelBLÜ sun deck is more than just a sun terrace. Here you gaze straight ahead at the Graukogel above Bad Gastein, which many call the mountain of power in the Gastein valley. A fantastic place to cool off after a hot session in the sauna and relax in the fresh, clean mountain air. Here you can enjoy the far-reaching views over the roofs of Hofgastein to the Tauern summits. Enjoy the tranquillity.

Flowers and herbs bloom at the top of the tree house in the HimmelBLÜ Garden, lovingly tended by hostess Eva. Just like in an authentic Gastein farm garden when the season permits. Friends of fresh air and fragrance feel at home here on the hotel roof terrace. The open-air area above the 4th floor offers niches, deckchairs, and quiet corners for lounging and chilling out. Far away from all the hustle and bustle. Just you and the sky above.
