The health and safety of our guests and our team are of course always our top priority. Therefore, we have developed an individual protection and hygiene concept for the Hotel BLÜ- with the clear goal that we all come through these challenging times as unscathed as possible.
Entry requirements:
In the Austrian hotel industry, gastronomy, all stores and also with the mountain gondolas & lifts, the 2 G rule is obligatory. Since 7 January, FFP2 masks are also mandatory outdoors if a distance of 2 m cannot be maintained.
Entry from Germany
As of 16 January 22, a new regulation applies for travelers returning from Austria to Germany. The travel warning is not a TRAVEL PROHIBITION.
Travelers entering Germany as well as travelers returning from a high-risk area must register in advance via www.einreiseanmeldung.de to upload their valid 3-G proof via this portal.
Vaccinated and recovered guests from Germany can continue to spend their vacations in Austria without having to enter quarantine upon return.
Children up to 12 years of age do not need a 2G certificate.
On return to Germany - according to the current status - children up to 12 years if the 2 G is not fulfilled but for 5 days in quarantine.
Adolescents over 12 years need a 2 G certificate and also fall under the FFP2 mask obligation.
Entry from the UK, Belgium, Netherlands and other high risk areas
Since December 20, additional entry regulations have been in effect for Austria to contain the Omikron variant.
All entrants 12 years and older need a valid 2G proof (3 vaccinations) AND additionally a PCR test (not older than 72 hours) to enter Austria.
Bar:
Our bar closes at 10pm and standing consumption is not allowed.
Mask requirement:
FFP2 masks are generally mandatory in the hotel. Exceptions are the assigned seating area in the restaurant, as well as the saunas.
Distance:
We ask you to keep the 2 meters minimum distance between people from other groups.
Hand hygiene:
We ask you to pay increased attention to your hand hygiene. For this purpose, sufficient soaps are available in the sanitary facilities and hand disinfectants in all public areas. During your stay, please wash your hands regularly with soap for at least 30 seconds and make ample use of the hand sanitizers provided.
Testing of our guests:
All of our guests are vaccinated or recovered. This ensures that Covid-19 is a minor concern during your vacation. Additionally, we recommend that our guests undergo voluntary testing via antigen or PCR testing prior to arrival.
Testing facilities in the area:
In the immediate vicinity of our hotel, there are several testing avenues available to you. One is the spa pharmacy in Bad Hofgastein (100 meters) and the other is the Kursaal in Bad Hofgastein (150 meters). At these two test lanes you have the possibility to perform antigen rapid tests or PCR tests.
Pre-check-in form:
All guests are requested to fill out the pre-check-in form upon arrival.
Yoga:
When exercising, it is important to ensure sufficient distance between participants. Therefore, the capacity limits may decrease. We therefore ask you to register in advance for yoga sessions. During the sport practice there is no obligation to wear masks. Yoga mats are disinfected after each session.
Sauna:
The sauna cabins can be visited by fewer people so that the safety distance can be maintained. Depending on the regulations, they may only be used by people from the same household/travel group at the same time.
Dear guests,
we ask you to take care of the general guidelines for the benefit of all.
Please keep your distance from the other guests as well as from our employees and follow the recommendations of the house.
Education:
It is particularly important to us that our employees have extensive knowledge about Covid-19 prevention options. Therefore, our team is extensively trained regarding the transmission routes, protective measures and in this context especially about the risk in contact with guests. All the measures that our team implements to make your vacation as carefree as possible are derived from this training. And even if there's currently no handshake to greet you - we still like to put on our warmest smile.
Personal prevention measures:
The majority of our employees have an upright immunization against Covid-19 in the form of a vaccination or recovery. In addition, employees are tested weekly for Covid-19 with PCR testing. Furthermore, we have agreed internally to conduct two additional tests using rapid antigen testing in addition to this weekly testing. In addition, employees' body temperature is measured and documented every day at the start of work. With these measures, we minimize the epedemiological risk posed by our employees.
Cleaning and disinfection:
At regular intervals, our team will disinfect all surfaces in every area of the hotel. Your rooms are cleaned and disinfected daily by our housekeeping team using highly effective, certified agents. Prior to a new occupancy of a room, it is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. Ventilation is ensured through intensive air exchange.
Safe public areas:
We regularly clean and disinfect all public areas, the BLÜ Bar, the BLÜ Restaurant, the HimmelBLÜ and the fitness area. We particularly pay attention to high-touch spots such as door handles, railings, and light switches. Where possible, we leave doors open to minimise physical contact. In addition, regular air exchange is ensured in the public areas. This is provided by the enitre operation of the ventilation systems and regular aeration.
Hand hygiene:
We encourage our employees to pay more particular attention to hand hygiene. For this purpose, there are sufficient hand disinfection dispensers and appropriate soaps available throughout the hotel, including in the staff areas.
Mouth-nose protection:
Throughout the entire house, our staff wear FFP2 masks in all indoor areas. These masks help to prevent possible infections, especially if the minimum distance is less than 2 metres.
Distance:
It goes without saying that we maintain a minimum distance of 2 metres within the entire house. If this is not possible, we try to keep the space as close to the minimum as possible.
In this case, there is nothing to prevent you from having a beautiful, relaxing and at the same time safe holiday at Hotel BLÜ in the Gastein Valley.
